SBA @ European Virtual Human Twins
End of October, Rudolf Mayer, senior researcher at SBA Research, represented the dAIbetes EU project at the EU’s high-level event on the European Virtual Human Twins (VHT) Initiative in Brussels, Belgium, which aims to accelerate innovation and making personalised medicine a reality through virtual human twins.

He was speaker in a panel on “Research in VHTs: challenges and opportunities in foundational research“, moderated by Anca Scortariu, Deputy Head of Unit, AI in Health and Life Sciences, DG CNECT.
Rudolf was joined in the panel by Kristin Reiche, Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI, Adrian Ionescu, Professor at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne, and Alfonso Valencia, Icrea Professor, Life Sciences Department Director, BSC-CNS.
