Austrian Council Workshop – Markus Klemen on Digital Sovereignty
Markus Klemen (founder and managing director of SBA Research) held an impulse talk on Digital Sovereignty at a virtual workshop organized by the Austrian Council for Research and Technology Development.
The Workshop focused on two aspects of the topic of digital sovereignty: (1) “digital” technologies that have the potential for Austria and Europe to build corresponding industries and ecosystems and (2) security of digital critical infrastructures through strategic digital sovereignty. The aim of the workshop was, besides the exchange of ideas, the elaboration of a possible Austrian perspective in this European or global topic as well as possible fields of action.
