Georg Merzdovnik Hosted Hacker Jeopardy at Disobey 2026
Mid-February, our colleague Georg Merzdovnik, senior researcher and team lead of research group ISIS at SBA Research, hosted Hacker Jeopardy at Disobey 2026, one of Europe’s most well-known hacker and cybersecurity community events.
Hacker Jeopardy is a fast-paced quiz competition inspired by the classic game show format and tailored to the hacker community. Participants competed by answering questions covering cybersecurity, computing history, hacker culture, and technology trivia. The format combined technical knowledge with quick thinking and a healthy dose of humor, making it a popular highlight at hacker conferences.
As host, Georg guided contestants and the audience through an entertaining session filled with challenging questions, surprising answers, and lively interaction with the community. With participants ranging from experienced security professionals to enthusiastic newcomers, the event delivered both intellectual challenge and plenty of laughs.
