Fatma Nur’s upcoming work, “Security-Oriented Test Vector Generation for Rarely Activated Logic in Digital Circuits,” aims to strengthen hardware security by improving the detection of hidden malicious modifications in integrated circuits.
During the next three months, her efforts go towards developing and comparing test generation strategies – combinatorial, meta-heuristic, and random – to better expose rarely activated logic where hardware Trojans often hide.
Through this research, she seeks to advance black-box testing techniques and provide practical benchmarks that enhance the reliability and trustworthiness of digital hardware systems.
