SBA Security Meetup Becomes Official OWASP Vienna Chapter
We are pleased to announce that the SBA Security Meetup is now officially operating as the OWASP Vienna Chapter.
While the name has evolved, our mission remains unchanged: strengthening the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and experience within the information security community.
What started as the SBA Security Meetup and it has grown into a vibrant and engaged community over the years. With new chapter leadership in place, this initiative has now taken the next important step by becoming part of the global OWASP® Foundation network as the OWASP Vienna Chapter.
A big thank you goes to our new Chapter Leads for taking on this role and driving the chapter forward: Michael Koppmann, and Mathias Tausig (SBA Research) as well as Martin Haunschmid, Christian Mehlmauer, and Lennert Preuth. Nicolas Petri (SBA Research) will continue to support the organization of our meetings and events.
Our sincere thanks goes to the OWASP® Foundation for enabling and supporting this transition.
We are excited to further grow the OWASP Vienna community together and look forward to what lies ahead.
