June 26, 2026 - June 27, 2026 , All day
German

The one- to two-day workshop provides female HTL students with hands-on insights into the world of cybersecurity and the Shecurity Hackers Training program. In addition, it creates a valuable space for networking and exchange among students from 10 HTLs across Austria.

Agenda

The event begins on Friday, 26 June, with a welcome session followed by a hands-on Forensic Lab led by Maria Kloibhofer from USTP. After the lunch break, Hannah Fluch from the ACSC Team and HTL Spengergasse will share insights from the DEF CON 2025 CTF challenge experience. Participants will then have the opportunity to put their skills to the test in a Capture the Flag (CTF) session focused on solving security-related challenges and puzzles. The day concludes with closing remarks and a social event in the evening, providing time for networking and exchange.

On Saturday, 27 June, the program continues with a presentation on high-security documents made in Austria, offering a behind-the-scenes look at passport security features. This is followed by an introductory session on web application penetration testing. After lunch, participants may optionally attend the BSides Vienna conference, one of Austria’s key community events for cybersecurity professionals and enthusiasts.

Target Group
