Internet Identity Workshop – Walid Fdhila and Nicholas Stifter present study results
Walid Fdhila and Nicholas Stifter (both SBA Research) presented their study results at the 32nd IIW Internet Identity workshop, which gathered experts and practitioners from both academia and industry to discuss and debate identity issues. Jointly with their project partner Markus Sabadello (DanubeTech), they presented their work on distributed identity (DiD), where they evaluated a selection of DiD methods following the guidelines specified in the W3C DiD method Rubric V1.0. The comprehensive study evaluates and compares the DiD methods with respect to governance, enforcement, security, and portability among other criteria.
The preliminary study report is publicly accessible to the SSI community – comments and contributions are welcome!
