Tomasz Miksa @ EOSC Winter School 2026
Tomasz Miksa, senior researcher at SBA Research, recently participated in the EOSC Winter School 2026, held from January 27–29 in Nice, France. He was presented the work on standardisation of maDMPs and was also moderating a session.
He demonstrated how Data Management Plans can be linked with operational research data services. Using the DMP-IF, DMPs can exchange information with research data management systems, enabling automatic updates, reducing duplicate data entry, and supporting continuous maintenance of DMPs throughout the research lifecycle.
The EOSC Winter School 2026 was organised by the EOSC Association with support from the EOSC Gravity project. It brought together members of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) community (including EU projects, task forces, expert groups and policymakers) to strengthen collaboration and support the development of the EOSC Federation.
The program combined a Stakeholder Brokerage Event for matchmaking between resource providers and EOSC nodes with thematic workshops and discussions on interoperability, resources, and skills development, offering opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and future project partnerships.
