His research interests focus on:
- Software protection: Quantitative prediction models for estimating the strength of code obfuscation
- Threat modeling: Inference of cyber defense strategies through reinforced threat modeling
Bio
Sebastian Schrittwieser is a Lecturer and researcher at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten, Austria. He received a doctoral degree in informatics with focus on information security from the TU Wien in 2014. He is the Co-Founder of Kibosec, a company targeting the development of services in the area of digital forensics and advanced trainings. From Aug 2018 until Sept 2020 he was head of the Institute of IT Security Research at the FH St. Pölten. Sebastian is currently also part of the research group security and privacy at the University of Vienna.
