Research Interests
Markus’ work concerns the security and cryptoanalysis of public-key systems and the complexity of algorithmic problems in number theory. Moreover, he is interested in data analysis and anonymization techniques, such as the generation of synthetic data.
Bio
Markus studied Mathematics and Philosophy at the Paris Lodron University of Salzburg. In 2018, he received a doctoral degree for his dissertation On the Complexity of Integer Factorization and Related Problems.
