Tobias’ professional activities included performing penetration tests and security assessments of diverse software and computer systems with a focus on web applications.
Research Interests
Tobias was interested in software security, especially web application vulnerabilities and Cross-Site-Scripting (XSS).
Bio
Tobias received a BSc in Media Informatics and Visual Computing and a MSc in Software Engineering and Internet Computing at the Vienna University of Technology. In his bachelor thesis he examined techniques for obfuscating and hiding malware in PDF files. In the course of his master thesis he developed a new approach for the automated discovery of XSS vulnerabilities in web applications by dynamic analysis methods. Furthermore, he is an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP). Currently he is working as information security consultant.
