Stephanie Jakoubi

is part of the Management Board and head of the Strategic Partnership Management, Communication, and Events team at SBA Research. In her capacity, she is co-organizer of numerous cybersecurity roundtables, informal expert meetups, and community exchange formats fostering exchange across sectors.

Area of Responsibility

Stephanie Jakoubi serves as Team Lead for Strategic Partner Management, Communication & Events at SBA Research and is part of the Management Board. In this role, she is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key stakeholders from industry, academia, and the public sector. She leads the organization’s communication and outreach activities, ensuring clear positioning of SBA Research’s expertise and impact, and oversees the planning and execution of high-level events that foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Her work focuses on strengthening long-term relationships, identifying new cooperation opportunities, and translating complex cybersecurity topics into accessible formats for diverse audiences.


Bio

Stephanie received a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering in 2009 and is currently doing her masters in Information Security Management at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria Campus Hagenberg. She holds the industrial certificate ISO 27001 Manager and Auditor.

In addition to her core responsibilities, Stephanie Jakoubi is Chairwoman of the Cyber Sicherheits Plattform (CSP), where she contributes to shaping Austria’s cybersecurity landscape through cross-sector collaboration. She is also the Founder of Shecurity and leads its female hacker training initiative, promoting diversity and empowering women in cybersecurity. Furthermore, she serves as a board member of the KSÖ (Kuratorium Sicheres Österreich), supporting national efforts in security and resilience.

Stephanie Jakoubi is Program Lead of SheDigital and initiator of the “Future IT-day” (prior “die IT-Tag”) initiative. The “Future IT day” taking place on 9th December pursues a clear mission: to inspire young people—especially girls—to engage with IT, break down stereotypes, reduce barriers to entry, and make female role models in technology more visible.
